Dr. Benke began his specialty practice in Cleburne in 2000 and is committed to providing excellent ENT care. A native of Dallas, Dr. Benke graduated from Jesuit High School and Baylor University. He completed medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and ENT residency training at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, Missouri. Dr. Benke is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He served for five years in the USAF, including two years as Chief of ENT at RAF Lakenheath Hospital in Suffolk, UK. He is a former clinical assistant professor at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and has lectured at Cambridge University.
Dr. Benke is a certified functional medicine physician as of May 2023. He retired from the operating room summer of 2023, but his surgical mindset enhances his critical thinking and problem solving skills that are vital for functional medicine.
